Branding & packaging design
Working collaboratively with clients to ensure every project communicates a simple, relevant proposition combined with a compelling visual execution to create an effective design.
Services include naming and strategy, brand identity (including logo design), brand guidelines, tone of voice, photography direction, illustration and packaging design including structural design.
Custom bottle shapes and cardboard structures are created through a process of sketching, visual mockups and final cad model or print dieline and prototypes of the approved design.
Marketing and communication design
Creating effective marketing and print collateral that stands out, builds brand presence and sells well, without requiring traditional agency level budgets.
Custom illustration, product photography and copy writing can be executed internally or external collaborators sourced when more suitable.
Services include marketing plans and schedules, campaigns, print & digital marketing collateral, vehicle livery, signage & wayfinding, point of sale design.
Websites and digital marketing
Drive online engagement with quality social media content, digital advertising and an effective website.
Website design & build utilising squarespace or webflow for fast and cost effective solutions. Wordpress or shopify websites can be built alongside an external developer once a visual design is resolved. Figma and Adobe XD based prototyping experience.
To assist with executing your own social media content or digital advertising in-house, editable templates can be created in Canva for those without Adobe products.
About me
I’m Allan Cave.
An experienced designer who’s worked closely (but not touching) with a variety of clients both within the beverage and hospitality industries and across other sectors for over ten years.
Previous to setting out on my own I worked at an Auckland brand and fmcg design studio followed by freelancing at several agencies in Melbourne, Australia.
In addition to the scope of services listed above I’m happy to freelance for agencies or in-house design teams. I enjoy taking direction and working for other creative directors.
